Lady Denise Chenault, “Lady D” as she is affectionately known, is an encourager to men, women and children. She is a woman of God and will always greet you with “Praise the Lord”. She is a loving wife and mother to her children, Shaneice (Sparkle), Janeice (deceased), Herschel III, and a grandson Dasan.
Lady D served in the US Army. She currently volunteers at the Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center and facilitates a Grief Share support group with her husband.
She is an accomplished Bible teacher for the GRCF women and children, as she processes a BA in Biblical Studies from Carolina University of Theology.
Lady D is the leader over the women’s ministry (Women Walking with God) and desires for every woman to understand the importance of the ‘sister bond’ by which women need one another. She is the leader over the Praise & Worship ministry and she adores praising and worshiping God.
Within the church, Lady D has a “Ministry of Presence” to walk alongside a person. She is a powerful prayer warrior, can oftentimes be found attending the sick in their home, at the hospital, or in a rehabilitation facility. But more importantly she strives to live her life as a testimony to the living Word.
